ZONA CAFETERA
Wedding location & things to do
Our venue is located in Zona Cafetera, Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia. Culture, landscapes & tradition are combined in this Colombian region. It is also part of the Unesco World Heritage List.

Three departments (states) are part of this region: Caldas, Risaralda and QuindÃo. The three main cities of this area are their capitals: respectively Manizales, Pereira (Liliana her hometown) and Armenia.
The wedding is in Montenegro, a picturesque town next to Armenia.

For kids, the main attraction is the theme park known as the National Coffee Park. They can have fun in the roller-coasters or ride a trolley - while learning about coffee too. This park is in Montenegro.

Make sure you visit Salento, one of the most beautiful city with its colourful colonial houses (also part of the Chiva tour).

We hope you have time to explore!
CARTAGENA DE INDAS
and what to do around the wedding
Cartagena de Indias is the undisputed queen of the Caribbean coast, a historic city of superbly preserved beauty lying within an impressive 13km of centuries-old colonial stone walls.
Cartagena's Old Town is a Unesco World Heritage Site – a maze of cobbled alleys, balconies covered in bougainvillea, and massive churches that cast their shadows across leafy plazas.

This is the area where some of us, including most probably us, will go after the Wedding. Gastronomy, the vibes the atmosphere, beaches, party... Cartagena has it all.
CIUDADES PRINCIPALES
Other cities to consider
BOGOTA
Bogotá is Colombia's beating heart, an engaging and vibrant capital cradled by chilly Andean peaks. The city's cultural epicentre is La Candelaria, the cobbled historic downtown to which most travellers gravitate. Nearly all of Bogotá's traditional attractions are here, radiating from Plaza de BolÃvar, and Cerro de Monserrate is just east.

MEDELLIN
Situated in a narrow valley is MedellÃn known for its skyline reaching for heaven, setting high-rise apartments and office buildings against a backdrop of jagged peaks in every direction. Its pleasant climate gives it its nickname – the City of Eternal Spring. This is Liliana where Liliana studied. On weekends MedellÃn lets its hair down, its many discos attracting the beautiful people.

SAN ANDRES
Tropical islands
SAN ANDRES
Just 150km east of Nicaragua and some 800km northwest of mainland Colombia, the seahorse-shaped island of San Andrés is best known as Colombia's favorite weekend getaway, where mainlanders love to come to drink, tax-free shop, sunbathe and party.
